The short version. Aircon.Guru gives free, independent information to help you plan air conditioning. It's general guidance, not professional advice — always confirm with a qualified installer before you buy or install anything.

What this site is. We provide information and planning tools. We are not an installer: we don't sell, fit, quote for or service air conditioning, and we take no commission or payment from installers. Our value is impartial guidance.

Not professional advice. Our guides and planner give general information and estimates. The planner's sizing is a planning estimate based on the details you enter — not a quote, a guarantee, or a substitute for a proper room-by-room survey by a qualified, F-gas-certified installer. Decisions you make based on the site are your own.

We can't guarantee accuracy. We work hard to keep things correct and up to date, but regulations, grants, prices and products change, and information here may become out of date or contain mistakes. UK rules also differ across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, and our guides on rules, grants and costs are UK-focused.

Installers and external links. We don't recommend or endorse specific installers, brands or other websites, and we're not responsible for their content, services or work. Any brand names are examples only. Choosing and dealing with an installer is between you and them.

Using the site fairly. Please use it for your own planning. Don't misuse it, try to break it, or scrape or republish our content as your own.

Our content. The text, guides, tools and design are ours (or used with permission) and protected by copyright. You're welcome to use them for your own planning and to save or print your plan; please don't copy or republish them commercially without permission.
